Mornings are spent working with a
professional illustrator learning to draw
your designs as live models pose for your
sketches. End your illustration sessions
with a portfolio ready piece. Afternoons
are spent with professional seamstresses
constructing your design - pinning, cutting
and finally sewing it.

Prepare for your photo shoot working with
professional hair and makeup stylists. End this exciting week modeling your creations for friends and family!

You’ve taken fashion illustration with the
Arts Center in the past? Fashion I is still
for you! There are always new projects to
develop and more to learn, as the world of
fashion is always changing!

Fashion Week II: July 16-20
Times: 9:30am-5pm Cost: $370 Deposit: $185

To know the world of fashion it’s key to study contemporary designers as well as those from the past. Each summer Fashion II focuses on observing two professional designers and the details of their signature designs. This summer participants explore the Art
Deco influences of Erte in Gucci’s 2012 Spring collection and touch upon the affect of the movie industry on fashion.

Spend mornings sketching to apply a unique stylistic spin to your designs. The week ends with a completed portfolio piece. Sew and add embellishments in the afternoons to a basic pattern completing your piece á la Gucci and Erte! Fashion II ends with a photo shoot, makeup and hair styling session. Walk the runway in a fashion show for the week’s finale!
