The Arts Center has continued to bring a variety of quality musical talent to the Shoreline. Visit the following links to read press coverage about our events.

In the Fall of 2004, New York-based Contrasts Quartet performed in the sanctuary of the Killingworth Congregational Church. Guest of honor, Pulitzer Prize winning-composer, Aaron Jay Kernis, addressed the audience after the Quartet performed his piece. Contrasts Quartet

The Alturas Duo, a Latin/Classical fusion group, performed a number of newly commissioned Latin American compositions for the Shoreline audience. Before the performance, The Center hosted a free workshop for children and teens with the musicians. Alturas Duo

Artists and musical professors, The Niwa Duo, performed the third at Classical NightOut. Performances by several of The Duo's advanced students were included. Niwa Duo

In the Spring of 2005, pianist and Juilliard Jazz professor Mike LeDonne brought along bassist Ben Wolfe to perform. Madison-resident and trumpet prodigy Max Darché also participated. Wolfe would return to The Center two years later for a sold-out performance of his own compositions, accompanied by his students from the Juilliard School of Music. Mike LeDonne, Ben Wolfe
