Seaweed isn’t just the stuff that wraps around your legs in the water. It is magical and comes ruffled or straight, ranging in colors from white to green to red. Versatile and easy to work with, seaweed can look like stained glass, people, and ships at sea. Artist Lisabeth Billingsley, also known as “The Seaweed Queen,” will bring baskets full of this magical material so you can create two greeting cards or a 9”x12” picture. Let your imagination take over. Fun is guaranteed!. Cost is $60. Space is limited, register in advance.

Graphic designer and knitter Kimberly Conner will share her unique felt hat making secrets to inspire you to create a one-of-a-kind hat pattern. Bring your scrap wool and novelty yarns to design a distinctive and practical work of art...a real conversation piece!

Both workshops are necessary to complete your designer hat. Basic knitting skills required: cast-on and knit stitch. $40 for each Workshop. Space is limited, register in advance.
